A cross-sectional sample of 200 employees from public and private organizations completed a self-report questionnaire that assessed their engagement in work and counter-productive work behaviors based on their gender in a Pakistani context. Findings revealed the presence of significant and negative association between job engagement and counter-productive work behaviors among employees under study. Furthermore, findings also highlighted that the male employees show more counter-productive work behaviors as compared to female employees and that female employees were are engaged in their work as compared to male employees. According to existing literature, it was hypothesized in many studies, that level of state anxiety will be increased or decreased according to the nature of induced stimuli and state anxiety will be high among those who have high trait anxiety. A number of studies has also explored the relationship between personality traits and state and trait anxiety. In this study, a total of 246 students from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan participated. In class room settings, firstly state and trait anxiety were measured through State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), personality traits were measured through Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI), Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) was used to measure mood before and after induction and then positive and negative stimuli were presented and immediately effects of induced stimuli were measured through PANAS and after that state anxiety was measured through state version of STAI.&nbsp; To test hypotheses, independent t-test, correlation and paired sample t-test techniques were used. Results revealed that nature of induced mood positive or negative can decrease or increase the anxiety level. Also, the study found a positive correlation between state and trait anxiety. This qualitative study focuses on the psychological factors of behind VE among Pakistani youth. The study applied qualitative approach to explore such factors that incite youth towards extremist activities. The study consists of 4 focus group discussions with youth. Thematic analysis was employed to analyze the data. Factors identified are low self-control, neuroticism, lack of empathy, low self-esteem, and need for identity. Findings of the study indicated that identified psychological factors can have a great influence on extremist violence in youth. Theorists and researchers emphasize the importance of attachment. Therefore, the first two years of a child are of great importance in forming sense of relationship. It can be considered as maternal deprivation if it is not formed during these years thus leading to trauma. The purpose of this article is to review attachment theory and relate attachment perspective to trauma symptoms. It also aims to draw the compression between healthy and unhealthy attachments. This paper intents to explain the common trauma symptoms that show up due to unhealthy attachment. It also highlights the trauma symptoms an adult struggle with due to the insecure attachment. To do so, this work includes the reviewed paper of the period between 2017-2021. In these studies, individuals with attachment trauma have found to have difficulty in maintaining interpersonal relationships along-with experiencing psychosomatic symptoms, sexual and mental issues and difficulty in regulating emotions. The work contributes to the field of psychology by enhancing the understanding of importance and impact of attachment theory by exploring the traumatic impact on adult life. This study aimed to analyze attachment to God and gratitude among adults from different religions and to look for gender differences in this regard. Purposive sampling method was used in this study. A total of 180 respondents were selected from different religions. To measure the extent of attachment to God and gratitude, two scales named after these variables as developed by Richard Beck and Michael McCullough were used. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyzed the data through SPSS. Results revealed that attachment to God and gratitude were statistically significantly and positively correlated (p&lt;.05). Hindus and Christians had more fidelity to God as compared to Muslims. Whereas gratitude was higher among Christians and Muslims as compared to Hindus. The independent sampled t-test showed that there was no gender difference in attachment to God and gratitude scales scores.
