Author(s) shall ensure that the manuscript is original in nature and is not submitted or published already elsewhere. It shall be the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that they have obtained permission regarding any copyrighted illustration, structure or table published previously which is part of their manuscript. All the manuscripts must be submitted to AFS through its OJS directly by authors and not through intermediary companies or agents. Manuscripts submitted by third party will not be entertained.
The editor of AFS is authorized to make decision for the initiation of manuscript review process. Moreover, based on the reviewers comments, the decision of editor in consultation with his team will be final for publication.
Every published article can be accessed through AFS website afs.metisjournals.com after publication. Queries related to OJS and submission can be shared at firstname.lastname@example.org
All articles published in AFS will be covered under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial 4.0 International License which permits unrestricted, non-commercial use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the work is properly cited. It is the responsibility of author(s) to ensure that their manusrcipts are within the permissible similarity limit. After receiving of manuscripts, the desk review editor will run the manuscripts to check Similary Index (SI) through Turnitin. Any manuscript having SI of more than 19% in total and 5% with single source will be rejected.
At the time of submission of manuscripts, author(s) will not be required to submit consent form. However, when the manuscript is submitted to AFS, it is assumed that author(s) have permitted the editorial team to review and assess the quality of manuscript for publication in the journal. Once the manuscript is approved and the acceptance is communicated to the author(s), they will be required to send consent and statement of ethics to the journal via email (email@example.com). For more information on editorial process, click HERE. Metis Publications reserves the right to reprint the articles that are published in AFS, its official research journal.
In the event that ethical misconduct (e.g. misrepresentation/falsification of data, pervasive errors, plagiarism, multiple submission, etc.) is determined to have occurred in a manuscript published in AFS, the editors of the journal reserve the right to issue a public retraction of the manuscript in question. The retraction will appear in the form of a note published in a subsequent issue of the journal.
Manuscripts that have been rejected are not eligible for further consideration by AFS and thus should not be resubmitted. If a revision is allowed, it will be explicitly stated in the editor's decision.
